Okay, so I tried a bunch of new arrivals on this week’s livestream so you don’t have to watch hours of footage to find the good stuff.
Here’s what I said on stream — and here’s the written version. I tried on 9 items total. Seven are keepers I already know I’ll wear a lot. Two are going back. I’ll keep it straightforward: what worked, what didn’t, and why.

The 7 Keepers
These are the ones I’m happy I bought. They fit my pear shape well and feel like everyday pieces.
1. Light-wash straight-leg jeans
Brand: Madewell. Size 28. These hit right at my ankle and give a clean line without squeezing my thighs. The stretch is comfortable but not too stretchy. I kept them because they go with everything.
2. Oversized beige blazer
Brand: Zara. Size S. It’s relaxed through the shoulders but still structured enough. I can wear it over a white tee for work or with a tank on weekends. Good length on me.
3. Black ribbed tank top
Brand: Everlane. Size XS. Perfect thickness — not see-through at all. The length is just right to tuck or leave out. I already wore it twice this week.
4. Wide-leg cropped pants
Brand: Abercrombie. Size 4. These hide my hips nicely and feel breezy for LA spring weather. The fabric has some weight so it doesn’t cling.
5. White chunky sneakers
Brand: Adidas Samba. My usual size 7. They look clean with both jeans and dresses. Super comfortable for walking around the Arts District.
6. Soft green button-up shirt
Brand: Uniqlo. Size XS. Lightweight and easy to layer. The color is nice in real life and works with my skin tone. Great for throwing over tanks.
7. Small crossbody bag
Brand: Mansur Gavriel. This one was a splurge but the leather feels solid. It holds my phone, wallet, and keys without looking bulky.
The 2 Returns
1. Floral midi dress
The waist was too high on my frame and the fabric felt thin. It looked cute on the model but didn’t work for me. Returning.

2. High-waisted shorts
They dug in at the hips and the length was shorter than I expected. Not comfortable for all-day wear. Back they go.
Most items ran true to size for me. If you’re pear-shaped like me, size up in bottoms if you’re between sizes. The blazer and tops were forgiving. Always check the return policy — I try everything on camera exactly for this reason.
I’m already planning next week’s stream. I’ll be looking at more spring dresses and some denim jackets. If you caught the live, thanks for hanging out. If you missed it, these recaps will always be here .
