Reformation sent me a few new arrivals to try on, this is an ad but I’m keeping it real like always. I picked pieces I would actually wear in my daily life in LA.

The Pieces I Tried
Cary Low Rise Wide Leg Jeans
These are one of their bestsellers right now. I tried the medium wash. The wide leg feels relaxed and flows nicely when I walk. The low rise sits comfortably without digging in. Fabric has good weight and some stretch. After one wash, they still look sharp. I’m keeping them — they mix well with basic tees and tanks.
Mackenzie Silk Dress
A slip-style midi dress in a soft green print. The silk feels smooth and cool against the skin, perfect for warmer spring days. It has a relaxed fit with adjustable straps. I layered a simple tank underneath for more coverage. It dresses up easily with sandals or down with sneakers. Nice quality, but I would only buy it on sale because silk needs careful washing.
Cove Cotton Oversized Crew
A lightweight cotton version of their popular sweater. Beige color, boxy fit. It feels soft and breathable — much better than heavier knits for LA spring. I can throw it over dresses or wear with jeans. Washed well with no shrinking. This one feels like good value and I’ll wear it a lot.
Fern Linen Shorts
Sage green linen shorts with a relaxed fit. They hit at a flattering length and have pockets. The linen has a nice texture but wrinkles a bit, which is normal. Comfortable for all-day wear. Good for weekend errands or casual lunches.
My Honest Verdict
Reformation’s quality is solid — better fabrics and construction than fast fashion. The jeans and cotton crew are the strongest pieces here. They feel like items I’ll keep for years. The silk dress is beautiful but higher maintenance and more expensive for how often I’d wear it.
Reformation makes good sustainable pieces, but shop smart and buy what you’ll actually wear multiple times a week. Have you tried anything from their new collection? Let me know which pieces you like!
